Gary Sommer is an experienced trial attorney whose practice emphasizes the defense of doctors and hospitals in matters of alleged medical negligence. Mr. Sommer began his law career in the U.S. Navy J.A.G. Corps where he served as a trial attorney and was chosen to serve as a judicial clerk for three appellate judges. While in the J.A.G. Corps he earned his L.L.M. from George Washington University National Law Center in Washington, D.C. Mr. Sommer joined Boston & Hughes, P.C. in 1999 where his practice continues to emphasize trial and appellate advocacy in cases involving complicated medical issues.
Gary and his wife Donna live in Northwest Harris County with their three children. In his free time Gary enjoys travel, tennis and watching his children participate in soccer, Little League and other activities. It has been said that quiet waters run deep. Gary's quiet strength, vast legal knowledge and understated advocacy serve both he and his clients well. |
