Matthew B. E. Hughes is Board Certified in Personal Injury
Trial Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. He is
an associate member of the American Board of Trial
Advocates. He is also rated AV-Preeminent as a trial lawyer
by Martindale-Hubble.
Mr. Hughes has defended hundreds of physicians in cases
involving alleged medical malpractice and in matters before
the State Medical Board. He enjoys appellate advocacy and
has argued numerous cases to the appellate courts. Five of
his cases have been reported in the Southwestern Reporter.
Mr. Hughes also handles employment law matters. He has
defended employers accused of sexual harassment and
counseled employers and employees on their rights under
state and federal law.
